On the 4th day of CNY (6th Feb 2011), my sister-in-law (SIL) has given birth to a healthy baby boy. Her expected due date was 17th Feb 2011 though. The baby's head has not shifted below, so when her water broke, the doc has to perform an emergency C-Section on her, and at 6.30am, she has given birth to a healthy baby boy! She and the baby was discharged from the hospital 2 days later.
Everyone welcomed the baby Rabbit into the family. At that moment, the SIL has not decided what to name the baby. So mum-in-law (MIL) said to call him baby Rabbit for the meantime.
Unfortunately, baby Rabbit suffered some complications a day later with his intestine. His intestine was entangled and was causing him to vomit out the milk they were feeding him with. Initially, the GP said the baby was too full, but not convinced, SIL sent baby Rabbit to a paediatrician and diagnosed baby Rabbit with intestinal complication. SIL rushed him back to Gleneagles and they did an operation on the poor baby boy!! Imagine, someone just a week old has to go under the knife! Luckily enough, the operation was successful.
SIL was worried and fell sick. MIL was not allowed into the room. After a week in the hospital, baby Rabbit is finally home, and drinking milk normally. By now, the parents has already named him Hanson Chong Wai Kit. Baby Hanson is his name!
Everything has been on the brighter side for Baby Hanson. Let's hope he will be a brave little boy and grow up healthily!!
