Baby Hanson

On the 4th day of CNY (6th Feb 2011), my sister-in-law (SIL) has given birth to a healthy baby boy. Her expected due date was 17th Feb 2011 though. The baby's head has not shifted below, so when her water broke, the doc has to perform an emergency C-Section on her, and at 6.30am, she has given birth to a healthy baby boy! She and the baby was discharged from the hospital 2 days later.

Everyone welcomed the baby Rabbit into the family. At that moment, the SIL has not decided what to name the baby. So mum-in-law (MIL) said to call him baby Rabbit for the meantime.

Unfortunately, baby Rabbit suffered some complications a day later with his intestine. His intestine was entangled and was causing him to vomit out the milk they were feeding him with. Initially, the GP said the baby was too full, but not convinced, SIL sent baby Rabbit to a paediatrician and diagnosed baby Rabbit with intestinal complication. SIL rushed him back to Gleneagles and they did an operation on the poor baby boy!! Imagine, someone just a week old has to go under the knife! Luckily enough, the operation was successful.

Baby Hanson after the op

SIL was worried and fell sick. MIL was not allowed into the room. After a week in the hospital, baby Rabbit is finally home, and drinking milk normally. By now, the parents has already named him Hanson Chong Wai Kit. Baby Hanson is his name!

Everything has been on the brighter side for Baby Hanson. Let's hope he will be a brave little boy and grow up healthily!!

Zen Residence - The development so far...

Although we are living in our Pertama Residency (PR), Hubby has always kept and eye on the development of our 2nd home, i.e. Zen Residence (ZR). He has always follow the forum and a group in FB to keep abreast of the happenings there.

One day, he told me that the FB group has posted a few pictures of our block already done up and they are starting the construction for Block B. Feeling curious, he asked me to go take a drive to Puchong to check out the construction side.

Check out some of the pictures taken that day:-

Block A all done up

Block B still under construction

Our unit is ready!

ZR has shown tremendous development since we last paid our visit. Strangely enough, I don't feel the excitement I had with PR. Maybe because I'm here living in PR and don't really have the heart to move into ZR as it is so far from everything that I've been familiar with.

Oh well, we have to get a bigger place when since we are starting our family planning. ZR will be ready by end Q1 of 2012, according to the group in FB. Let's hope so!

His Valentine's Day gift

After feeling guilty for not getting something for V Day, I've finally got him his gift. Nothing big, but at least something he has never bought for himself before, and I myself have not bought him this kinda gift before.

It is a perfume. LOL not creative - Yes, I admit. But heck, I can't afford the gift that he wants. So this is the best.

Hubby is not a person who wears cologne, but he has agreed to get this because his aunt who works in Chanel, got us a 40% discount for this! Woo hoo! So much savings! And the best part, it is the male version of the Jean Paul Gaultier perfume he got me for V Day!

Now, we have a set of perfume, and the bottle design is just beautiful! Happy happy ^^

Happy Valentine's Day 2011

It's post Valentine's Day today. I'm still over the moon for what Hubby has done for me.

A few days before the V-Day, Hubby was telling me that his colleague asked him what has he planned for V-Day. Hubby's answer to his colleague - "We are already married. We are no more lovers. Just plain ol' husband and wife". I was left speechless.

So obviously, I did not expect anything. Plus, we wanted to save money for our post honeymoon trip to Japan. On V-Day after work, hubby picked me up as usual. Right after I climbed up the car, I saw a tube wrapped in a red present wrapper. I asked Hubby was is it and he gave me a silly smile, and said it's my V-Day pressie! OMG! I'm so surprised! So thrilled!

My wrapped pressie

Hubby told me that it's just something simple for me, and said it's a water tumbler. LOL! And I actually don't mind a water tumbler. I'm already so contented he got me something for V-Day. When we got home, I unwrapped the present and it was a perfume! One of favorite collectibles.

My lil surprise

The newest edition to my perfume, a Jean Paul Gaultier Classique.

Jean Paul Gaultier "Classique"

The fragrance is something different from my normal style. It's more of the "spicy" fragrant compared to my usual musky collection. But I like it. It is something different from my usual style. A good twist I would say.

The newest addition to my collection

And check out the funky bottle! If anyone could be that curvaceous, *phee weet*! Hubby said he chose this perfume because I don't have this brand and the smell is different from my collection. Also he said he likes the bottle design. LOL I told him my body can never be that way, no matter how much I try LOL!

Curvaceous bottle design

Apparently the fragrance for the male is quite good too, but Hubby didn't get it cos he doesn't use any perfume. That's why it's useless for me to get it for him too.

But anyways, I am so grateful for the thoughts and effort he put to get this lil surprise for me. I didn't get him anything though. Yes, I know! I feel guilty too. But I'll make it up to him.

Happy Valentine's Day Hubby! Love ya!

Uncle Billy - My inspiration

My beloved Uncle Billy, has passed away peacefully on 8th Feb 2011, 4am. I received the bad news from my dad, who called me at 4am. I was so shocked beyond words when I heard my dad said "Uncle Billy just passed away".

The uncle I respect and love the most has passed away. Sigh. It's CNY - Time for happy times, not for mourning.

Uncle Billy during my tea ceremony

Uncle Billy was the most generous and kind person I know. He was the most non-political person in the family. I remember when I was little, he would pack my angpau at a higher amount for me. He has never scold me and is always smiling when he talks to me. My only regret is not able to spend more time with him before he left for heaven.

Uncle Billy had always been a camera-shy person

This is my cousin's dog, Sasha. The day we buried Uncle Billy, she refuses to eat anything at all. When we pushed her food in front of her, she pushed it away and hid her head under the staircase. Uncle Billy always bring her for a walk and she must have known that Uncle Billy is no more there to accompany her.

Sasha misses Uncle Billy

This song reminds me so much of my dear Uncle Billy. This is by Eric Clapton - Tears in Heaven.

Would you know my name
If I saw you in heaven
Will it be the same
If I saw you in heaven
I must be strong, and carry on
Cause I know I don't belong
Here in heaven

Would you hold my hand
If I saw you in heaven
Would you help me stand
If I saw you in heaven
I'll find my way, through night and day
Cause I know I just can't stay
Here in heaven

Time can bring you down
Time can bend your knee
Time can break your heart
Have you begging please
Begging please

Beyond the door
There's peace I'm sure.
And I know there'll be no more...
Tears in heaven

Would you know my name
If I saw you in heaven
Will it be the same
If I saw you in heaven
I must be strong, and carry on
Cause I know I don't belong
Here in heaven

Cause I know I don't belong
Here in heaven

Uncle Billy, you will be missed and will forever be in my memory.
